The Faction Projects Building is framed with Glulam post and beam with Cross Laminated Timber making up the floor and roof systems.
This structure was an innovative use of cross-laminated timber panels. The CLT panels were shaped for maximum efficiency, with multiple components cut from standard rectangular panels with minimal waste. The CLT also forms partitions and millwork and incorporates distinctive BC beetle kill pine and BC Engleman spruce.
This unique all-weather wood structure above the existing transit island platform is located in downtown Kelowna. The wood brings beautiful aesthetics to Kelowna’s downtown core.
The Tower Ranch Clubhouse features Glulam beams throughout the 15,000 square foot facility.
