Structurlam facilitated the Raleigh Durham International Airport expansion by providing the building with glulam truss members. Designed by Fentress Architects, the structure was inspired by the flowing hills and culture of North Carolina’s Piedmont region.

Located by the river bank of Dongshan River in Yilan County, Taiwan, the Yilan National Center for Traditional Arts was constructed using a combination of brick and Glulam beams to create the structure that it is today.

The Armstrong Arena houses an NHL-sized ice rink with 400-person seating capacity. Its curved roof features custom 100-foot-long composite trusses constructed with glulam top chords, steel V-struts and slightly splayed double tension tie cables. The lumber for this project was donated by a local mill.

The Richmond Oval was built for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and Paralympics. Inspired by Richmond’s official symbol, the Heron, the Glulam Plus beams in the Richmond Oval capture the themes of Flow, Flight, and Fusion on its 32-acre lot.

The beautiful aquatic and fitness facility is located in the heart of the Kootenays. Built using Glulam beams, the building contains a new arena, change rooms, a state-of-the-art indoor aquatic facility, upgrades to the Curling Centre, a new fitness centre and a new lobby/social heart welcoming the public.
