The Armstrong Arena houses an NHL-sized ice rink with 400-person seating capacity. Its curved roof features custom 100-foot-long composite trusses constructed with glulam top chords, steel V-struts and slightly splayed double tension tie cables. The lumber for this project was donated by a local mill.
