Garibaldi Fire Hall

The Garibaldi Fire Hall is an environmentally friendly, leading edge building with a residential suite constructed above the fire station using cross-laminated timber. There are a number of sustainability benefits including the use of local BC materials and manufacturing, renewable resource product supporting BC Wood First legislation, and significantly reduced energy consumption thanks to an increased use of low carbon energy sources, resulting in a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.

The Structurlam team has been an instrumental part of the design and construction team bringing this project to fruition. Their team has gone beyond my expectations.
